Debbie + Greg's wedding at Windsor Mountain Camp in NH was the perfect destination wedding venue; offering a true rustic New England experience; providing the perfect opportunity to have your family, and friends celebrate with you for a whole weekend. Most New England summer camp sessions are over come the end of August, leaving two of the best months to get married; September & October.
Debbie + Greg are easy going by nature, and love being outdoors. So their vision of inviting friends + family to be part of their wedding weekend in the mountains, suited them perfectly. It's little touches that reflect who you are as a couple, that create a unique, genuine and memorable experience for you and your guests.
When I arrived at camp, you could feel a calm energy in the air. Guests were finishing up lunch, and playing lawn games on the field near Jordan Hall. Greg got ready at the Treehouse with the guys, while Debbie was wrapping up with hair and makeup in the councilors cabin. Once Debbie got into her dress, she headed over to the Treehouse to see Greg for the first time, and to steal a few minutes with each other before the rest of the day unfolded.
After family portraits, everyone gathered for their ceremony overlooking the lake. Their ceremony was full of personal touches such as handwritten vows, a knot tying ceremony, and tossing of blessing stones into the lake. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a beautiful cocktail hour on the deck before gathering in Jordan Hall for a family style dinner, and lovely speeches. After dinner, everyone danced the night away before walking back to their cabins for the night.
